The Fier Court has remanded in prison the two former directors of the Fier Cadastre, Ertis Shehu and Bardhyl Kapaj, and the lawyer Piro Çela, while for businessman Kastriot Hasko it has decided to replace the security measure with "house arrest".
According to the Fier Prosecutor's Office, Kastriot Hasko is suspected of using two forged decisions of the Property Restitution and Compensation Commission to register approximately 1,143 hectares of land in Seman i Ri and Sheq Marinas. Then, using a forged power of attorney, he is suspected of selling the land to two different companies.
The prosecution suspects that the two former directors and the ASHK specialist registered properties in violation of the law, without verifying the authenticity of the ownership documents.
In one case, according to the investigation, a larger area was registered than what was specified in the forged document. It is also suspected that the cadastral entry of the land was changed from "arable land" to "fruitless land", without the necessary administrative act.
