Iran sets conditions for resuming negotiations with the US: Lift naval blockade and release our assets

Iran has conveyed to mediators its conditions for resuming negotiations aimed at ending the war with the United States.

The information was revealed by the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaee, in an interview with Al Jazeera.

The conditions include ending the war on all fronts, releasing Iranian assets and lifting the naval blockade, Rezaee said.

He added that consultations with mediators from Qatar and Pakistan are continuing and that Tehran is awaiting a response from US President Donald Trump.
