With the election of Donald Trump, the Democratic Party no longer has an alibi

The election of Donald Trump as President of the United States has sparked unprecedented enthusiasm in the opposition camp, especially the Democratic Party.
All this enthusiasm is related to the fact that the US, with President Trump, will now remove the non-grata from Sali Berisha, and according to many of his supporters, Donald Trump has a political trajectory similar to that of Sali Berisha. Trump, like Berisha, was persecuted by the justice system, and Berisha and Trump have the same enemy, George Soros.
Looking at all this enthusiasm, it seems as if as soon as Donald Trump enters office, the first thing he will do is remove the non-grata from Sali Berisha.
This could happen, because nothing can be ruled out, but to speak in this way is to consider US foreign policy the policy of a cooperative and not of the most powerful state in the world.
Its foreign policy is not something that changes in two, three or four years. Certainly the foreign policy of Democrats and Republicans may change, but some of its issues are state issues, beyond one political wing or another.
So the Democrats' enthusiasm for the Sali Berisha issue, more than for the immediate reality, has to do with propaganda and an illusion that he will throw at his supporters until the next elections.
He wants to tell his supporters, through the election of Donald Trump in America, that his troubles and those of the Democratic Party are over. And his supporters will believe him, just as they have believed him so far about the Blinken trial, or the war being waged against him by the Soros mafia.
However, the election of Donald Trump is also good news for the Democrats. Sali Berisha will no longer have an alibi for his non-grace or international isolation, as he has a friend in the Oval Office of the White House, not an enemy like Soros.
If his non-grata status is lifted, then we will all apologize to him and accept that the attack on him was an attack by Soros. But the problem is for him and his party, that there is no longer any alibi if such a thing does not happen.
So far, Sali Berisha has convinced his supporters that America has nothing against him, but that those who attack him and want to are simply certain segments of it. This argument, at least, from now on he can no longer use.
But the most surprising thing in this story is the fact that the Democratic Party and Sali Berisha have been telling their supporters for three years that they are a sovereignist party, that Americans and Europeans should not interfere in Albania's internal affairs, and other arguments like these.
These ideas have been supported by many journalists and opinion leaders in the media close to Berisha. To some extent, this thesis has gained traction.
Whereas today, with the election of Donald Trump, they have turned into an internationalist party. Today, sovereignty is over and the DP has turned into a party that listens attentively to what America and Europe will decide about Sali Berisha.
This is good news for the Albanian Democratic Party, but they must maintain this course until the end, regardless of how this story may go.
Finally, the Albanian public opinion and the democrats will no longer hear stories with Soros, the organized attack on Berisha or the opposition, by the entire international factor. Now the Albanian opposition with its leader are no longer the enemies of the US, but its friends.
