This, in a nutshell, was the panorama of what was trumpeted as the DP union. It is symbolic of the entry of Gaz Bardhi into the headquarters from where he was forcibly expelled. You can hardly find more peaceful, cruder and mockery symbols. A true comedy, to be the envy of even the luminaries of this genre.
Comedy in fact, that politically today and tomorrow with votes, can cause the political "tragedy" of the so-called "united" political group.
Since elementary school, "unity makes power" has been memorized by every Albanian, big or small. A short story with a sketch portraying Skenderbeu, the national hero of the Albanians when he called the princes and showed them a bunch of birch trees.
Beyond this symbolism, the birches and Gaz MPs are not the same thing. Because the birches have an advantage compared to Gaz and friends. Birches don't talk, gas does. Yesterday he was whipping Saliu "Berisha is Zen's father", today he goes under the balcony to guarantee his loyalty; yesterday he accused Flamur of hiding the 760,000 euro villa in Lala, today he comes out alongside Noka to convince the citizens that they are united. The problem of unification in the conditions and circumstances where the democrats are today should be treated in a more conventional concept. It would be a very cynical concept to announce, as Bardhi says, the merger of DP just because he and some others joined and recognized President Saliu.
The party is a concept that surpasses the president, the deputy, the secretary. The party is the people who join voluntarily not simply around people, but around ideas, which they believe will also have benefits for themselves. Beyond them, i.e. members with membership cards, there are thousands and thousands of others that leaders and leaders must convince to embrace their platform of ideas.
The mathematical rule of "three" does not exist and does not work in politics. So, since Gaz Bardhi and several MPs fled to Berisha's Reestablishment and since "Zen's father" accepted Gaz into his bosom, it is good that the party joined. (If it was for the "rule of three", it would have happened that with this rule, when Kastriot Islami joined Saliu in the DP, he took other socialists with him. In fact, he did not take any of them, even Saliu escaped even some supporters he had). No, because the party is neither Saliu nor Bardhi, but there are thousands and thousands of voters who still today do not know what is happening with their party. Democrats are in serious dilemmas and a serious inflation of confidence in their leadership. Almost in analogy with the "Islam case" is also the "Bardhi case". There are many questions, but the answers are simple. Who turned PD from a fortress of freedom and a barn of votes to a place where hope is sought by candle?! Do you believe in hypocritical politicians who say what they say today they don't say tomorrow and the day after tomorrow they lick the spit they threw tomorrow?! Do the politicians know that the past always follows you behind like a black shadow and the voters will consider you as "heretics"?!
The country needs a serious opposition, not an archaic opposition without a vision! The only vision of the opposition is "to kill Rama", the refrain of 13 years.
Eventually, Gazi went to Saliu. And then? Did PD join when Luli has the seal, Saliu rents the headquarters, Luli still has the logo? If Reestablishment, which has a majority of Democrats, has chosen Gaz Bardhin as a symbol of unification, then this is not unification, but weakening. Ordinary democrats do not believe in "neither meat nor fish" elections, even when these elections are sometimes meat, sometimes fish.
