"Songs of my homeland", concert in honor of the poet! Lefter Çipa, a life dedicated to Albanian polyphony

The Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances brought the show "Songs of my Homeland" to the National Theater of Opera, Ballet and Folk Ensemble last night.
The concert with the participation of a large number of singers was realized in honor of the Great Master of Pen and Polyphony of the South, Lefter Çipa, "The Honor of the Nation". The musical values, choral parts elaborated by master Çipa's creativity and the combination of vocal polyphony with folk instruments, as well as the choreographic etude came from the orchestra, soloists, vocal group, AP dance group, as well as various polyphonic groups.
For the first time, the TKOB diva Eva Golemi came in a duet with the Albanian rock legend, Aleksandër Gjoka, in an arrangement of the famous song "Tundu bejke e bardë" by the composer and artistic director of the National Ensemble, Sokol Marsi. The concert had the special participation of the artist Bujar Asqeriu "Nder i Kombit", soloists Malvina Likaj, Aranit Hoxha, Denisa Gjezo, Mirela Aliaj, Raimond Kllogjeri, Avni Miraka; dance soloists Gëzim Halili, Helga Saraçi, Marjana Shkreta, Rei Berisha, Frenki Ziaj.
Participants in the concert were Irini Qirjako, Petrit Lulo, Artur Vera, Bashkim Alibali, Hatixe Lushi, the polyphonic groups of Himara, Bênça, Piluri and many other artists. The poet Lefter Çipa (Pilur, 1942-2021) is the most productive author of polyphony during the last 40 years. Author of over 1250 songs performed by the famous polyphonic groups, the State Ensemble of Songs and Dances as well as dozens of other artistic ensembles. Lefter Çipa is considered the unique author of songs of high artistic and musical value and has participated with his creations in the National Folk Festivals held in Gjirokastër, Berat and Lezhë.
Lefter Çipa has been honored with awards and decorations, including the highest decoration "Honour of the Nation". Lefter Çipa was born in Pilur on February 14, 1942 and died on February 18, 2021). He was a poet. He is one of the most prominent Albanian poets. Author of 18 published books of poetry, Lefter Çipa was awarded the "Honour of the Nation" on November 28, 2020. He is considered the "today's prince" of Albanian polyphony. The most creative author of polyphony in the last 40 years. Dozens of texts by this author are in the golden fund of Albanian light songs sung by the most famous singers of the last 100 years. Lefter Çipa is remembered as the initiator co-organizer of the famous trio from Vlonia. His creativity is the source where many of today's modern Albanian singers and composers are nourished and where most singers have preferred to have the surprising poems and lyrics of this author in their repertoire.
Among the author's books are "Bejkë e bardë", "Bilbilat e vendit tim", "Alxħipri moj balehhapur", "Kngët e Ruzana", "Dheun tim përsipër mjaj", "I will rise again for Kosovo", "The song that dissolves" tears", "Songs of Akroqeran", "I love you as longing as my heart", "I come from the light", "Songs of my Motherland" (the first volume), "Dreams in the hands", "People with light" etc..
