Fake Twitter accounts are added, due to the new verification model

Multiple Twitter users can create fake accounts, even with the names of public figures, and under the new rules these accounts will be verified with the new system introduced by the platform.

Previously, celebrities, politicians, journalists and other public figures were required to provide proof of identification before receiving the "blue tick" indicating account verification.

The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, at the end of October, bought Twitter for 44 billion dollars.

Just a week later, on November 5, he announced that he has fired nearly half of the company's workers, citing "there was no other choice," because Twitter was losing more than $4 million a day.

Twitter users can now verify their accounts if they subscribe and pay eight dollars a month.
