"I had a bit of luck. I came from Lushnja when I was 7 years old. And there I climbed the stage for the first time. I loved poetry, I didn't know how to understand the importance of poetry, but I just liked the phrases.
I got the scholarship to the Lyceum and it was a great joy. I didn't know who Migjeni was and no longer Shakespeare that I would play his works 5 times. I came to Lice... my great luck that showed me a path in my life, Pandi Stillo was on the jury. He had a great intuition. He gave me an exercise, I didn't do that exercise badly, I filled his mind and he was convinced that this has an emotion and he applauded me when it was over. That there was an accusation there, that I even blushed, that I was accused of something in the exercise that I had not done, I even burst into tears, and I was defending myself. And defending myself, I showed and grint and he liked it.
He put a warm father's hand on my shoulder and told me to wait outside. I waited for him, and when he came out he said: Tomorrow you will come to the People's Theater because we have something to say with the director. Director Kol Jakova welcomed me with a smile, and the director told him that 'we will take this girl to the Theater because I saw her yesterday in the exam'. Because they needed a new girl. I was scolded because I came from a very poor family, when I came to Tirana I didn't even have a suitcase", she confesses.
