Today in Upper Prekaz, in the cemetery of the Bregaj neighborhood, the reburial ceremony of Sinan Dauti, who has been missing since the 1999 war, was organized.
On April 12, 1999, Sinan Dauti was seriously injured by Serbian forces and died two days later in Mitrovica as a result of his wounds.
But for 27 years, Sinan's family had no information about his fate or whereabouts.
Today, his body was buried by relatives and well-known political figures, among them President Albulena Haxhiu and municipal representatives.
