The situation in the Strait of Hormuz has recently escalated again after Iran's Revolutionary Guards warned of its complete closure, accusing the US of violating the terms of the ceasefire.
Through an official statement, they announced that the Strait will remain closed until the naval blockade of Iranian ships and ports is lifted.
According to them, the US has not taken steps to ease the situation, which according to Tehran constitutes a violation of the agreement.
The Revolutionary Guards warned that any ship attempting to move towards the Strait of Hormuz would be considered collaborating with the enemy.
On the other hand, it is learned that the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has held an emergency meeting at the White House Operations Center, to discuss the latest developments in the Strait of Hormuz and the negotiations with Iran that seem to be failing from time to time.
According to a senior American official, if there is no rapid progress in the negotiations, the resumption of hostilities in the coming days remains the only possible scenario.
It is reported that this meeting was attended by key figures of the US administration, including Vice President JD Vance, who is expected to be involved in the next round of talks with the Iranian side, as well as Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent.
