According to French media, the man is 37-year-old Sabit Haxhiaj. He was reportedly sleeping in a shelter at the French city's train station.
A local French media outlet writes that Haxhiaj had been in Strasbourg for five years. Haxhiaj had a friend and was spending the night with him. It was the friend who found the 37-year-old's body. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.
