Kosovo/ Voting does not pass without incidents, police detain 6 people during election day

Kosovo State Prosecutor Laura Pula said that authorities have detained six people today for illegal actions in the electoral process being held today.
Pula stated that around 100 prosecutors have been engaged in 38 municipalities in the country to supervise and guarantee respect for the law.
"Since 7 am, we have been the guardians of the citizens' vote. We are monitoring the situation at critical moments and are taking measures against any violation that violates the right to vote, which is protected by the Criminal Code of Kosovo and includes 11 criminal offenses," said Pula.
She announced that by 3:00 PM, six people had been arrested in three different cases, who have been detained for further investigation.
"Although these cases cannot be considered small or large, they affect the image of the process. Any illegal action will have the corresponding consequences," Pula added, emphasizing that the prosecution is committed to reacting to any reported irregularities, both inside and outside the polling stations.
