Kurti succeeds! VV gets absolute majority in Kosovo, secures 56 seats in the Assembly

With 95% of the votes counted in the recent elections in Kosovo, Vetëvendosje (VV) and its leader, Albin Kurti, emerged as the clear winners, receiving around 49.79% of the votes. This gives the party 56 seats in the Assembly, giving it an absolute majority to form a new government.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) ranks second with 21.19%, while the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) ranks third with 13.77%. The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has received 5.74% of the vote, remaining the smallest force in parliament.

The results show a strong victory for VV and continuity in Albin Kurti's leadership, while other parties remain in the role of opposition.
