Kosovo Police uncovers document forgery laboratory

A laboratory producing forged documents was discovered by Kosovo police this Tuesday in an apartment in Pristina.
Through a press release, Kosovo police authorities announced that they managed to discover the house after, on January 24, they stopped a vehicle in which forged documents from various countries of the world were found.
The driver, with the initials FK, has been arrested and sentenced to 30 days in custody.
Police said that in the discovered facility they managed to seize laser machines, printers, over 20,000 microchips and thousands of documents from 51 different countries around the world.
It has been announced that the Kosovo Prosecution Office is investigating the case as document forgery and organized crime.
