Spahiu: The US will not allow the Kosovo opposition to form a coalition with Albin Kurti unless he wins 51%

The parliamentary elections on February 9 are approaching in Kosovo. As the electoral campaign enters its final hours, opinions and projections are diverse.
The majority believes that current Prime Minister Albin Kurti will not be able to win the majority to form the government alone and will not even be at its head anymore.
Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu shared his opinion on REPORT TV today about the electoral situation in Kosovo, saying that Kurti will not be prime minister after February 9, as his approach towards the West, the US and the EU, has been aggressive.
"Albin Kurti will not win 51%, his party will crumble, he has a negative attitude towards business and the media in Kosovo. There are also reactions from Richard Grenell, from the USA, about Kurti's behavior, reactions against him, for the positions he has held these years. If Kurti gets less than this figure, he will be in opposition ," says the lawyer.
But if Kurti wins the elections as the first party, can he form a government with coalitions? Spahiu says that the West will not allow him to form a government, precisely because of the approach he has had towards them.
"The US may allow three major opposition parties to form a new government and not allow them to form an alliance with Kurti, precisely because of the Kosovar Prime Minister's stance towards the West. Kurti has only one option, only if he gets over 50% of the votes. Because the US may ask parties like PDK, LDK and AAK not to pool their votes anymore, because of Kurti's approach towards the West", Spahiu concludes his analysis.
