Recent murders in Vushtrri, police increase checks

At the request of the Directorate of Education, Kosovo Police conducted several inspections today at educational institutions following the three recent murders that have hit Vushtrri, KosovaPress reports.
The Mayor of Vushtrri, Ferit Idrizi, announced that they have taken additional measures to increase security and guarantee a safe environment for students, young people and all citizens of Vushtrri.
Today, checks were carried out near several schools such as "Lutfi Musiqi", "Bahri Haxha" and "Eqrem Çabej" high school, with the aim of verifying security and ensuring that there was no potential threat to students and teachers, and during these checks, nothing suspicious was found.
"This is part of a series of measures that we will continue to implement to guarantee a safe environment for all citizens and to combat any form of violence and insecurity. We will remain committed to providing support and security to our community," Idrizi wrote.
Three people have been killed in recent days in the municipality of Vushtrri, which has shocked the citizens of the country.
