Tragedy in Gjakova/ Uninhabited building collapses, three minors lose their lives

A tragic event occurred tonight in Jabllanicë, Gjakova, where 3 minors lost their lives as a result of the collapse of an uninhabited house.
According to Kosovo media, one of the victims is 16 years old and the other is 14 years old, while the exact age of the third victim is still unknown.
According to the police spokesman, neighbors pulled the bodies from the rubble.
" On February 1, 2025, at around 10:50 p.m., we were notified that a slab of an uninhabited house collapsed in the village of Jabllanicë, trapping three children. The necessary police units, as well as emergency teams, including ambulances and firefighters, have arrived at the scene. Medical personnel have confirmed the death of the victims at the scene. The state prosecutor has also been notified of the case, in coordination with whom the necessary investigative actions are currently being taken ," the police announced.
