Colonel Dilaver Goxhaj, former deputy chief of staff of the KLA, invited to the "Off the Record" studio by Andrea Danglli, on A2CNN, stated that Albanians must have "some divine curse, that we don't love each other."
"This court was not expected to be like this because when two people argue, both go to court. We fought with Serbia, the attacked party goes to court, not the attacker. This is the greatest injustice done to Kosovo by the internationals. Why this great aggression against us Albanians? We Albanians are not paying attention, we are not uniting. The internationals came to our aid so that we could unite. At the Rambouillet Conference, Madeleine Albright added a special point, which stated that 3 years after the signing of this agreement, the people of Kosovo should hold a referendum to self-determine: to be on their own or with Albania. The tragedy is that they never raised the issue of the referendum there. Albania did not do it either. 6 months ago, Albania had the leadership of the Security Council and this council has the Rambouillet agreement in full. Kosovo did not ask Albania either, and Albania also acted as the defendant", said Goxhaj.
"I think this did not happen because of the anger of the Albanian. A brother does not love his brother better than himself. This evil has been on our necks for centuries. We must have some divine curse, that we do not love each other. There is no other explanation. Each one wants to be the pasha in his village. If we unite, the government officials think that we will have only one prime minister and fewer ministers," added Colonel Goxhaj.
