16th anniversary of membership, Minister Hasani: Albania has NATO and NATO has Albania

On the 16th anniversary of Albania's membership in NATO, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, reacted with a message on social networks.

"We have NATO and NATO has Albania! With the new geopolitical contexts, we will strengthen the partnership with our allies, and we will proudly continue our contribution to strengthening peace, security and stability in the region and beyond", underlines Minister Hasani.

According to him, Albania's journey to NATO reflects strength, security and solidarity, while expressing pride that our country stands alongside allies for a more secure future.

Albania remains a committed and reliable ally of NATO, the longest-standing and most powerful alliance in the world.

Its membership in NATO on April 1, 2009, is one of the most important historical achievements for the country and for the entire Albanian nation.
