Alibeaj: Judge Irena Gjoka's tribe welcomed Berisha in Patos, she was seen as a black sheep because she was right-wing

Former Minister of Justice, Enkelejd Alibeaj, has stated that Democratic Leader Sali Berisha has no personal problem with Judge Irena Gjoka.
Alibeaj made the comments in the studio of the show 'Off the Record' with journalist Andrea Danglli on A2 CNN, where he said that Irena Gjoka's tribe, with the surname Maneku, welcomed Sali Berisha in Patos, during the time when the opposition leader at the time was not allowed to enter the south of the country, in the years 1997-1999.
Alibeaj also said that after 1997, when the Socialist Party took over the judicial system, Irena Gjoka was seen as the black sheep in the Fier Court, as according to him, she was the only right-wing judge.
"In 1997, after 1997, Sali Berisha had a very difficult time penetrating the south. In 1999 he was in Vlora, after the communist revolution of 1997. Do you know who welcomed him in Patos for the first time and who were the standard-bearers of the Democratic Party of Patos? The Maneku clan. And Irena, one of the 7 surnames has Maneku.
And when I was Minister of Justice, I had a problem with this lady. But the truth is the truth. From 1997 and later, in the Fier Court there was only one judge who was called right-wing. You know what happened after 1997 with Petron. They also took over the justice system because that's how it always happens. The only one who was seen as a black sheep was Irena Maneku, because she was right-wing.
"I say this for a very simple reason. The implication is that this judge has a personal problem with Sali Berisha. On the contrary, she has no problem. At least her past or that of her family has been right-wing," Alibeaj said, among other things.
