"Trump's invitation went to Begaj, Rama took it" - Alibeaj: The Prime Minister is ready to sell pieces of Albania

Enkelejd Alibeaj, from "Djathtas 1912", has made strong accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding the invitation to the Peace Board, claiming that it was not personal and that it was initially addressed to President Bajram Begaj. Invited to the show "Off the Record" by Andrea Danglli, Alibeaj said that Rama has used this invitation politically, selling it as an individual success.
According to him, the US and the EU have for years focused their main investment in Albania on the justice system and not on political change through elections. “The Americans and the Europeans will not exchange SPAK for any of Rama's peace boards,” Alibeaj said, emphasizing that justice remains the West's strategic and non-negotiable investment.
He spoke of an “urban legend” according to which the invitation initially went to the President, but was appropriated by the Prime Minister, adding that the document was a “copy-paste” sent to dozens of countries. Alibeaj raised questions even though Rama did not sign the document, describing this as a gaffe that, according to him, betrays the entire process.
Alibeaj accused Rama of being willing to "sell pieces of Albania" to secure personal international support.
