Denunciation/ Strong political connections in Elbasan threaten the municipal councilor, Erjon Murataj!

A complaint has been filed with the Alfapress.al editorial office, when according to Elbasan municipal council member Erjon Murataj, he reports on life threats from council colleagues with strong political ties to the leaders and mayor of the municipality, following his findings of violations and abuses in this institution.
PSD councilor Erion Murataj writes that the threats from the mayor's relatives came from his reports about violations in the municipality's contracts with the "Kurum" company and the investigation into the death of a municipality employee while on duty maintaining Public Services.
In the following denunciation, he states that the family ties of his threat makers to the mayor are the reasons that may have pushed the officials to these actions.
He adds that so far he has not received a concrete response to his denunciation from several Crime and Anti-Corruption agencies, but with faith in justice, the advisor demands fair treatment and publication of the threat makers.
Denunciation :
" I, who am writing to you, am Erion Murataj, a member of the Elbasan municipal council. Due to the denunciations I have made against the mayor and his family members who hold public positions, who have been under criminal investigation by the prosecution, and administrative investigation by the municipal council, I have been threatened by the latter several times.
After finding "deaf ears" from law enforcement agencies, I sent an email to SPAK, BKH and the Elbasan District Prosecutor's Office, which dismissed one of the 4 reports. While I have zero information about the other three. An extraordinary meeting was announced by email, for a project related to the persons reported by me.
Director Indrit Abdiaj is the husband of the cousin of the mayor of Elbasan, Gledian Llatja.
At the same time, the head of the Green Party for Albania is suspected of being financed by the mayor of Elbasan. Currently, Indrit Abdiaj is a director in one of the directorates of Ferrokrom, while one of his nephews is in ASHPR Elbasan.
Elbasan police announcement, October 10, 2024:
-referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens EA, 22 years old, and AA, 35 years old, after in the "28 Nëntori" neighborhood, during a meeting organized by the municipality, they disturbed public peace and verbally threatened the representative of a political entity, citizen EM/ Alfapress.al
