The most voted MP of the open list in Elbasan, Qani Xhafa, responds to Berisha: No one from the Democrats was forced to participate in the Salijanj meeting

Former Democratic Party MP, Qani Xhafa, has reacted on social networks regarding his participation in the Ervin Salianji Pulpit meeting, held yesterday in Elbasan, in the "Skampa" Theater hall.
Xhafa has rejected the claims of the Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, who stated that the Salianj meeting was sponsored by crime and that the participants were forced to attend by exponents of the criminal world, including Suel Çela.
He calls these accusations untrue, categorically denying that he or members of the Democratic Party of Elbasan Branch were under threats to attend the meeting.
On the contrary, Xhafa emphasized that many Democrats have expressed dissatisfaction that they were not notified of the activity, adding that they have demanded an account of why they were not invited.

Clarification for public opinion regarding the meeting of Mr. Ervin Salianji in Elbasan on December 16 at 6:00 PM!
Honorable democrats, members, sympathizers of the Democratic Party and the entire public opinion, I would like to inform you that yesterday I was part of the meeting with the Democrats of the Elbasan District, as a democrat since 2005, where we shared with them the good and the bad of this political force!
I was not forced by anyone to participate in this meeting, but I found it reasonable that for several months after the elections of May 11, 2025, the DP fell into a lethargic sleep that was damaging it even more!
Likewise, find me a party member, sympathizer or whatever, who was or was not at the meeting, to declare that they were forced by someone to participate, even to cheer!
I would like to inform you that many Democrats were angry with me for not informing them, but the time was very short, only two days, and we left the participation to chance. In my opinion, it was a very good meeting, as there were many young Democrats in the leadership forums who are the future of the DP!
For the very profession I have as a mechanical engineer, I tell Dr. Berisha, if he convinces me with facts that that meeting was made by Suel Çela, I will be the first to withdraw, if the opposite is true, the young people must move forward to defeat the regime of Edi Rama!
At that meeting, among other things, they talked about the December 22 protest, which should be as powerful as possible to overthrow this government!
Please let us hear everyone's voice for the good of the DPA and for the good of Albania!
