"Edi Rama called me"/ Dash Sula reveals the offers he received from

Former Democratic Party MP, Dashnor Sula, spoke this Friday regarding media allusions to possible bargaining with the Socialist Party.

In a statement to News 24, Sula admitted that he had a direct phone call with Prime Minister Edi Rama, which he described as evaluative and civil.

According to Sula, the Prime Minister has contacted him personally, expressing respect for his integrity and dignity during his nearly 20 years in politics.

"He told me that he respects my dignity and integrity as an unsung man and invited me to contribute to the Albanian state where I see fit," the former MP declared.

He stressed that his response was sincere and dismissive. "I told him I'm not ready," Sula said, explaining that the call took place in August or September, before the start of the parliamentary session.

According to him, he has chosen to continue his personal and professional commitments, without accepting any offers at that moment.

Sula also stated that he had previously been offered various leadership positions, such as director of a department, legal director, and other functions in the administration, but his response was always negative.

The former MP has revealed that even after the clash with the Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, when according to him he was expelled from the Democratic Party, there were attempts to bring him closer to the ranks of other political forces. "The moment Berisha cut me off, I had an offer from people from the SP to be part of it, but I said absolutely no," he said.
