I am honored that I have no friends in SPAK', Basha in "Flak Fare": Taxes either work for Albanians or for Rama's friends

During a different interview on the show "Flak Fare" with journalist Rudi Himzo, the leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, was asked if he felt discriminated against for not having friends in SPAK. Basha said that he feels honored and that his goal is to stay away from any conflict of interest with the judiciary.
He then spoke about the program for a 9% flat tax, a model similar to that of Montenegro. He emphasized that this tax would apply to businesses with a turnover of up to 140 million old lekë and no more than 1% local taxes.
"Tax cuts give business a breather and bring more revenue to the state," Basha said, clearly emphasizing his political position: "Unquestionably, I am right-wing."
Excerpt from the interview:
Rudi : Do you feel discriminated against because you don't have anyone in SPAK like everyone else?
Basha: I feel extremely honored because my goal is not to be in a conflict of interest with SPAK.
Rudi : The second one.
Basha : Second, the money will either be in the Albanian economy, or it will be in 7x7-313. Albanian taxes will either work for Albanians, or they will work for Edi Rama's friends.
Rudi: How much will the taxes be?
Basha: 9%, flat tax. As Montenegro has, we should be competitive with other countries in the region. But it works up to a certain level, below 140 million old lek per year for business and above the living minimum for personal income. Below that, it is zero and no more than 1% local taxes.
Rudi: But where will the tax-free money come from?
Basha: Reducing taxes gives business a breather, generates more revenue, increases the tax base, and brings more revenue to the government.
Rudi: So, you're right?
Basha: Unquestionably.
