CEC gives "OK"! Vangjel Tavo is officially the Mayor of Himarë Municipality

Vangjel Tavo officially received the mandate from the State Election Commission, which paved the way for his swearing in the Municipal Council of Himara.

The defeat of the opposition, which demanded a repeat of the elections at every level of appeal, gave the green light to the CEC to certify the winner of the August 4 battle.

" Decides the granting of the mandate of the Mayor of Himarë, Vlorë District, Mr. Vangjel Tavo, proposed by the "Socialist Party of Albania" electoral entity, for the partial elections for Mayor of Himarë on August 4, 2024 ," said Celibashi.
