DP Secretary General Flamur Noka says that the February 8 protest called by the opposition will be the largest ever held.

Invited to the "Open" show on News24, Noka also shared the reasons why, according to him, Albanian citizens should protest.

Flamur Noka says that Arben Ahmetaj's accusations have exposed the government's luxury and this is a strong reason why citizens should protest.

" Saturday's protest is a protest that we expect to be the largest ever held. Every Albanian has 1001 reasons to protest against this regime. Depopulation, poverty, crime, mafia corruption, government luxury are arguments for every Albanian to rise up against this government.

We knew this, but when it comes from the number two of the government, it constitutes a major fact. It is a protest because today every Albanian feels robbed, trampled upon, not free, but blackmailed by the government.

Until the day Arben Ahmetaj came out with facts and evidence, no one knew that the prime minister of this country indulged in restrained luxury. This does not happen even with sheikhs.

"Saturday's protest will be a protest of free people against this atrocity taking place in our country ," said Flamur Noka.

Flamur Noka also stated that the protest will be in the form of a march, civic and civil.

" On Saturday, we invite every citizen who feels robbed, violated, who feels the burden of government luxury and greed to stand up. We invite citizens to become part of a civic protest, a civic and civil march. I will be with my wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren there on the boulevard ," declared the DP deputy.
