Just when the Chief Inspector, Shkëlqim Hajdari, had successfully completed a deep reform in this institution, he removed him from office and replaced him with former DP MP Dashnor Sula. This appears to be another politically motivated move by Prime Minister Edi Rama , who has made many other appointments with contingents taken from the opposition.
