The OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission, led by Ambassador Lamberto Zannier, went today to the CEC where they held a meeting with the Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi.

It is reported that during the meeting, a complete picture of the preparations for the May 11 elections, the registration process and the progress of the external voting process was presented.

It is also reported that the discussion also focused on measures to guarantee the integrity of the process and the transparency of the electoral administration.

The CEC announcement states that the OSCE/ODIHR Observation Mission also held meetings with other CEC bodies, including the Regulatory Commission and the Complaints and Sanctions Commission, to ensure a full and comprehensive observation of the electoral process.

Today, at the CEC Albania, we hosted a meeting with the delegation of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission, led by Ambassador Lamberto Zannier.

During the meeting, we presented a complete picture of the preparations for the May 11, 2025 elections, the registration process and the progress of the external voting process, and addressed all issues of interest to Mr. Zanier's team.

The discussion also focused on measures to guarantee the integrity of the process and the transparency of the election administration.

We provided detailed information on institutional efforts together with SPAK and the General Prosecutor's Office to combat electoral crimes and avoid the use of state resources in the campaign.

The OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission also held meetings with other CEC bodies, including the Regulatory Commission and the Complaints and Sanctions Commission, to ensure a full and comprehensive observation of the electoral process.
