"Assembly with 100 deputies"/ Rama invites the opposition for new agreements and constitutional changes

Within this mandate, Prime Minister Edi Rama said, a group for constitutional changes will be established.
"We should also consider establishing an initiative group for constitutional changes. We have raised the need for the Albanian Parliament to be reduced in size, we have an assembly with 140 members, we could very well have an assembly with 100 members. There are also important aspects that need to be chosen by people who know what they see, read, say, when it comes to the constitution of Albania, a group should be established that will then open a process, it is much more than an electoral reform, it requires much more space, commitment, resources. The ambition should be that at the end of the mandate we also pass a constitutional reform", said Rama.
"I want to move forward with great determination in introducing technology as deeply as possible into the work of the Parliament, with all that has been said. We have said it other times, I think that the parliament channel on Albanian television should become a parliament channel, not simply to directly connect the sessions of the Parliament. Other countries have a parliamentary channel, we should have one too. This will be done under the auspices of the Presidency of the Parliament, definitely inviting the representative of the opposition," Rama added.
