Former Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji has called for reflection within the political force, emphasizing that the responsibility for any departure from the party falls on the leadership of Sali Berisha.
Invited to the QUO VADIS studio, he stated that all democrats who engage in the party want to be winners and cannot be labeled as "criminals" for seeking political success.
Salianji criticized the approach of the leaders who, according to him, do not take into account the opinion of the Democrats, adding that the party should not be treated as personal property.
"Democrats who want to be winners are called criminals. All Democrats who come there want to be winners. The party has only one interest, how to increase the number of members, voters. They want to keep the Democratic Party as property. If the leaders say that we don't care what the Democrats think, they want to keep it as property. We need to do it now, so that we don't talk about it in a year.
"We should have had 61 candidates today, with people divided into zones. When they are in the DP, no one leaves. The responsibility for any departure from the DP lies with the leadership," said Salianji.
