Socialist leader Edi Rama has presented the program for infrastructure and facilitation that will come as a result of the construction of the "Traffic Monitoring Center".
According to him, all drivers will receive a fine on their phones, accompanied by each person's face. On the other hand, he emphasized that the cameras installed by the new investment will remove police officers from the national axes who are on the road.
"One more thing with that traffic monitoring center, because it is part of all this. Again, it is incomplete. The Traffic Monitoring Center is ready and work is being done to train the staff.
It will be related to the project that we have signed with the United Arab Emirates, to have the entire territory, hospitals, schools, public institutions and national axes in an intelligent camera system, which will be and will see all of Albania in real time.
The system is like this and it will signal here for an increase in speed, it will be signaled here, there will be no more police on the road. The police officers will be organized in a different way.
"The real-time speed control system will make fines immediate and what we are doing is that the fine comes to your phone in real time," Rama said.
