Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that Albania has been invited to become part of the Peace Board, a new international organization conceived by US President Donald Trump.
In a public reaction, Rama described this invitation as a historic moment and evidence of Albania's growing role and respect in the international arena.
"Very honored by President Trump's personal invitation to represent Albania on the Peace Board, a new international organization conceived by him, where Albania is invited as a founding member, thus reaching another international peak completely unimaginable just a few years ago."
I could not be more proud of Albania, for everything we have done in these years, turning it into a different Albania, worthy and respected worldwide like never before. Without a doubt, also for the level to which we have raised our strategic partnership relationship with the United States of America, being invited with special respect and appreciation by President Donald J. Trump to become part of an international board created and chaired by him, as well as to work together with him.
"God bless Albania and the United States ," Rama writes.
