Prime Minister Edi Rama held the longest marathon on his podcast "Flasim" this Saturday, where for eight hours in a row he pitted all the new candidates on the Socialist Party's lists for the May 11 elections.
With messages about the elections, but also jokes, Rama introduced the new names who will take to the field to win the votes of citizens and occupy a seat in the new session of the Albanian Parliament.
From the Shkodra candidate, who raised concerns that she can only get to her house by boat, to the young man who could not hold back his tears, to the representative of the Roma community in Vlora, all the young people recounted their involvement in the Socialist Party, part of them as an investment of the Political Academy and the platform “The MP We Want”. The candidates are young in age and in political life with a great desire to bring about change.
Prime Minister Rama explained the presence of so many young people on the Socialist Party lists as a need for the party of 2030 not to be a quagmire. Meanwhile, among them stands out the large number of those who have returned from emigration with the confidence to make a difference in Albania.
