Oil price increase/ "The Board must be transparent", Braçe: The hydrocarbon market model that threatens to collapse

In today's session in the Albanian Parliament, socialist MP Erion Braçe stated that the hydrocarbon market is a sensitive issue.

During his speech, Braçe emphasized that the threatening hydrocarbon market model must be dismantled. Braçe also emphasized that Albania has the highest net hydrocarbon price in the region.

"We have the highest net price of hydrocarbons in the region, I'm talking without taxes at all. It all leads to focusing attention on a key element, which is the market model. The Transparency Board has been misunderstood as the board that sets prices, that Board must provide transparency so that we can all be clear about where the problem lies. Above all, what impressed me were the threatening tones of an association that operates in the market as a cartel for, threatening tones to interrupt supplies, these threaten national security and of course we want to get answers by collapsing the hydrocarbon market model that guarantees profits with arrogance and threats from operators in this market ," said Braçe.
