Dua Lipa part of another film! The Albanian singer joins the cast of...

World-famous Albanian singer, Dua Lipa, will join the cast of the new film "Peaked", whose filming is expected to begin next month.

The film, produced by A24, will be directed by Molly Gordon, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Ali Levitan.

The story focuses on two women who, during their school years, had earned a bad reputation among their classmates.

A decade after graduation, they try to recapture their period of popularity during a reunion.

The cast also includes Emma Mackie, Connor Story, Gabby Windey, Laura Dern, Simone Ashley, Levon Hawke, Amy Sedaris, Alex Konsani and Emile Wakeim.

In addition to A24, the project is also co-financed by Gordon, David Hinojosa and Zach Nutman, while Levitan will serve as executive producer.

Dua Lipa has had a distinguished career in music, winning three Grammy Awards and seven Brit Awards. She rose to international fame in 2017 with the hit “New Rules” and has since released the albums “Future Nostalgia” (2020) and “Radical Optimism” (2024). In addition to music, she has also made her film debut, appearing in the film “Barbie” and then in “Argylle” alongside Henry Cavill.
