With their heads bowed or thrown aside, the deputies of the Albanian Parliament crossed the threshold of parliament to hold the first session after the publication of the lists of candidates for the next Parliament.
Emotions seemed to prevail over the desire to stay in the plenary session hall, which had mostly empty chairs during the working hours.
The publication of the lists of candidates for deputies diminished the interest of parliamentarians to be present in the Assembly hall, which remained mostly empty.
Instead of the working table, they preferred to discuss at the table in the Assembly café away from the camera's eye, but for some others, this was impossible.
Gazment Bardhi had to face the deputies who supported him but who remained off the list, such as Zheni Gjergji and Dashnor Sula.
The goodwill had clearly ended, while resentments were expressed on the microphone.
Before the election campaign break, the Assembly will meet again on Monday, where the parties found agreement to hold another parliamentary session.
