The head of PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule, has made serious accusations against the socialist candidate for mayor of Himara, Vangjel Tavo. In a statement to the media, Dule stated that Tavo illegally added 311 new voters to the electoral rolls.
Dule said: " I want to thank you for your hard work and sacrifice in difficult climatic conditions. This is the most absurd process possible, based on a presidential decree that we have appealed and for which there is no final decision regarding its constitutionality. Tomorrow, Himara will rise with two elected mayors, as Beler's mandate is not interrupted in accordance with the law and the final decision to judge the appeal in KAS. "
Dule emphasized that during the campaign, Tavo claimed that he transferred the civil status of some citizens who are not residents of Himara in order to protect his vote. He has raised doubts about the artificial addition of voter lists, emphasizing that the voter list has increased by 311 individuals compared to the May 2023 lists, and has denounced this as a flagrant violation in SPAK.
Dule concluded by saying that Tavo has distributed over 1,200 title deeds and still has 600 more to distribute, criticizing the lack of response from SPAK.
