Protests and defectors in the SP and DP
By Indrit Gjizeli
The protest has been saying a lot for several weeks about Rama and Berisha, about the misgovernance and the impotence of the DP to become an alternative for governance. But in the face of this reality, which is even more controversial than it seems in the square or on TV, deserters have taken their place in the SP and the DP. Not those who flee the parties, they are not deserters. They may be people with strong pride, with a sense of duty, who decide not to fight, and choose the only act, that of fleeing. No, the real deserters are those who are there, within the parties, are deputies, have positions, and continue to choose only not to speak, continue to undo the importance of civic anger, consider it transient. These deserters of the battles with the truth are in fact the face that disgust has, it is the face that cowards, the cowards have. Those who show disregard for the citizens of their own country are precisely those who perpetuate evil, the abomination, even more.
In the SP, there have been few voices that have opposed Rama. In the DP, even in the last meeting of the National Council, the voices of the protesters were openly requested to be heard. In the SP, there is a proposal by Spiropali to listen to the protest. There is a revolt by Koçek who joined the protest, as it is said that there are also internal debates about what is said in the square about the arrogant government. In response to these reactions, Rama is trying to say that he will listen to "reasonable voices", implying that the protest is also going deep within the offended socialists and that it could have consequences starting with the local elections. In the DP, the voices are not in essence, not for the unwanted Berisha, but for people who are his soldiers.
And unfortunately, in both camps, the deserters are the most numerous, turning hypocrisy into the majority. These are also the real traitors, as they know very well that this is the only way they can declare their survival at the expense of the citizens.
This aversion of deserters of public debate also includes a part of the media, of civil society, which does everything to misread society's effort to protect this country, to set an important moral boundary on what is called the "common heritage", which are the assets that God and the servant have left to the inhabitants of this piece of land called Albania.
But no, the defectors in the majority and opposition, finding comfort in the hypocrisy of their silence, after educating their children abroad and buying them houses to live in "fair places", are perpetuating the lie, the injustice here.
It is precisely these defectors, who instead of debate praise the leaders, who attack with insults anyone who demands debate and accountability, who are the canvases on which the party leaders build the faces of monsters.
Therefore, anyone who seeks justifications from such people should better abandon them, or even spit on them, since they are in that country after they promised to defend the right, and not the leaders. What is ours, common, is Albania, so every defector, who through silence perpetuates evil, should be accused of the same responsibility as those who make decisions, since their desertion from the truth is a hurricane through which evil passes towards us, towards the future of this country.
