Rama & Berisha, ugly anti-protest tango

Berisha and Rama appeared this week in complete synchrony on both sides of the protest - Rama declaring that he "will listen to the reason that comes from those concerned about nature", while Berisha declaring that "the DP's boycott of the Parliament was to meet the protesters' conditions".
This is also the coordination that both of them need - one presenting the protest as peripheral, left only for flamingos and nature, while the other presenting himself as the master of civic anger.
There is no more perfect coordination than that, as the SP and the DP are now treating the protest as a spoil between them that must be divided - one to "react to citizen anger" and the other to tell angry citizens "I represent you!".
As if to further complement this combination, Berisha returned to the accusations against SPAK, accusations that suit Rama a few weeks before the new requests for Belinda Balluku's immunity resurface when the new session begins.
Undoubtedly, reaching this point of coordination between Rama and Berisha was preceded by continuous insistence for more than 40 days to break up the protest and to contest everything that emerges from the square as civic anger towards both of them.
In this context, different representations, which sometimes clash for the microphone, sometimes for the voice in the "Citizens' Assembly", are in unison in coordination, attempting to show citizens that in the end, no one but those two decides.
This coordination, now that Rama and Berisha have been morally overthrown, makes the battle with the continuation of the protest vital for both of them. Therefore, both have rushed to gain time, to take the arena of debate.
It is precisely for this reason that News24 and other media outlets are being attacked, as well as media outlets close to the government or close to Berisha's family, in order to find a way out for both of them, closing off any space for anyone who approaches the protest. The public trial that is being held against Agron Shehaj's property, or even Lapaj e Qorri, is enough, even though none of them can be the voice of the protest, since citizens consider every party represented in the Assembly today to be part of the system. But again, Rama and Berisha, in full coordination, seek to be the only potential masters who sometimes attack and sometimes seduce the protest.
And yet, despite the fact that both of them can destroy the protest, their public image has been shattered, as many have understood this political tango between Rama and Berisha.
What has not yet been answered in the face of this political tango is the answer to at least two questions - will the DP still remain silent in the face of a Berisha who only guarantees political defeat? Will they still believe Rama when he says that "they have eaten plums behind his back" when in fact he has built parallel governments of Ergys Agas and several businessmen who have gripped every field of Albanian life?
Without answers to these questions from representatives of the two major parties, the only solution remains protests and only protests./Alfapress.al
