A student, present at the protest in front of the Ministry of Education, commented on the new legal package proposed by Prime Minister Edi Rama on violence in protests, describing it as an act of fear on his part.

In a statement to News24, the student stated that the prime minister is only thinking about his seat and that there can be no dialogue with him as long as the future of this country, the youth, has turned against him and he is violating it.

"We see it as an act of fear. When a person feels compelled to change laws to protect himself, his chair and his power. I think the future of Albania is more important than a chair."

"He is beating, raping and shooting at the future of this country. There can no longer be room for dialogue with a prime minister who beats the future of this country and has the future of this country against him," the student said.
