A bomb alert was received at around 08:00 at several institutions in Vlora and other cities in Albania.
In Vlora, among the institutions that received the message were the Court, the Municipality, the Prosecutor's Office, the Hospital, and several other institutions. The message was sent via a foreign email address and contained the warning: "Beware, we have planted a bomb."
After receiving the alarm, specialized services were deployed to the affected institutions. The Special Operational Unit of the Vlora Police conducted detailed checks on the institutions' premises, including checks for explosive materials or devices.
After completing the checks, no bomb or suspicious object was found. Police have verified that it was a false alarm.
Verifications are ongoing in this case to identify the author who sent the threatening messages.
