Austria wins Eurovision 2025, "Zjerm" ranks 8th - RTSH

Austria has been declared the winner of the European Song Contest, Eurovision 2025, with 23-year-old artist JJ performing the song “Wasted Love.” With a distinctive countertenor voice and a set design depicting a boat in the middle of the stage, JJ thrilled the audience and the European juries with a ballad about a platonic and unrealized love.
Austria achieved a total of 436 points, receiving 179 points from the public televoting and being one of the most highly rated songs by the professional juries of the participating countries.
Israel came in second place with 357 points, closely followed by Estonia with 356 points. Albania came in 8th place with 218 points, of which 173 points came from the public.
