Renowned Italian actor, director and screenwriter Antonello Fassari has passed away at the age of 72. Fassari became famous for his role as Cesare in “I Cesaroni” – the Italian television series broadcast on “Canale 5” from 2006 to 2014.
He also stood out in the role of Ciro Buffoni in the film “Romanzo Criminale.” Antonello Fassari remains one of the most highly regarded Italian comic actors – thanks to his participation in cult television programs such as “Avanzi” and television series.
A graduate of the Silvio d'Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1975, he initially began performing in theater, but it was his roles in comedy and fiction films that brought him fame, becoming one of the most appreciated actors by the public in the mid-1980s.
