Shkëmbi: We have done a lot of honors, we must get the 3 points against

Tirana and Partizan play on Monday (April 7) at 20:00 at the “National Arena” for the 33rd round of the Super League. The capital derby will be the fourth between them this season, while the previous three times there has been no winner (two matches 0-0 and one 1-1).

Before the match, Tirana coach Bledi Shkëmbi spoke to the media. The white-and-blue Korçari coach indicated that his team has a psychological problem that prevents them from playing their game. However, Shkëmbi expects his team to win, as the white-and-blue team has not defeated Partizan since 2022.

"We need to do something different from what we did against Elbasan. We talked to the team that the match is played for 100 minutes, not 90 minutes. The team needs to have a face, not like against Elbasan where we started well and then showed ourselves to be small. We need to fight and run more."

This team changed a lot against Elbasan and it seemed to me like they were under pressure. We don't have the luxury of being complacent when we score and take the lead. The team suffers psychologically.

Rivals – I hope our opponents are not having a good day, but other than that, we had the problem ourselves.

We are not doing our part well and that is the most important thing. We have had good matches in certain minutes, as well as weak ones. We have to win our job and do the math.

Skënder Gegë's Partizan – Now I see a Partizan with more ego and more fight. We must be careful of our mistakes, so as not to repeat them.

We have done our opponents a lot of honor with mistakes and we need to improve on this.

"In this match we have to get the three points, we have to do our best for this. In football there is never certainty, but you have to play a good match," declared Shkëmbi.
