Actress Meryl Streep is separating from her husband Don Gummer after 45 years of marriage.
According to foreign media, they have been separated for more than six years, but they have kept this information secret. The news of their divorce has been confirmed by Streep's media representative.
"Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for over 6 years. And while they will always look out for each other, they have chosen separate lives," he said.
The couple were introduced by her brother Harry in 1978, and the last time the pair were seen together was in 2018 when they stepped out together at the Oscars.
Streep and Gummer have four children: son Henry Wolfe and three daughters, Mamie Gummer, Grace Gummer and Louisa Jacobson. In addition, they have five grandchildren.
