For the first time, a woman wearing a veil on Big Brother VIP Kosovo

The fourth edition of Big Brother VIP Kosovo will begin tonight.

Sources from Telegraf report that one of the most commented residents of the fourth edition of Big Brother VIP Kosovo will be Ikballe Huduti, a well-known Islamic preacher and a figure who has often caused a stir for her statements in Albanian television studios.

According to sources, the production has also prepared a separate sleeping room for Iqbal, due to her headscarf and religious rules that do not allow her to share sleeping spaces with other contestants. Creating special conditions inside the house is considered an unusual decision for the local format, signaling that this year's edition is aiming for a more inclusive approach.

Although this is a new case for the Albanian public, it is not the first time in the international history of Big Brother that a woman wearing a religious veil has participated in this reality show. In the Philippines, Ailah Antopina is marked as the first Muslim woman wearing a veil to be part of Pinoy Big Brother.

Another case was also recorded on Big Brother Israel, where a Palestinian Muslim contestant wearing a veil entered the house.

However, this remains the first time that a veiled woman has become a resident of Big Brother, whether in Albania or Kosovo. Ikballe Huduti's inclusion is expected to spark wide-ranging discussions, from the debate over religious representation in the media, to curiosity about how she will interact with the format of a reality show that is often characterized by strong social dynamics.
