Autopsy reveals horrific details of Maradona's death: He spent 12 hours in agony, professionals could easily understand

The trial of the medical staff who cared for legend Diego Maradona, who died of a heart attack in 2020, continues in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The individuals are accused of neglecting Maradona's condition, leading to his premature death at the age of 60.
And the autopsy reveals horrific details of the world football legend's final days and hours, as it is alleged that he spent 12 hours in agony due to a lack of proper medication.
The newspaper "Clarin" reports that expert Carlos Mauricio Cassinelli showed photos of blood clots in the court session, which according to him showed signs of the agony Maradona went through in his last hours and that his heart had doubled in size, as well as the creation of 4-5 liters of fluid in other organs as a result.
“The heart was completely covered with fat and blood clots, which indicate agony. This is a patient who had been collecting water for days; this is not acute. This was something that was predictable. Any doctor examining a patient would find this. The water that was in the abdomen, both in the pleura and in the heart, is not normal, it does not build up in a day or an hour.
"It was formed over several days. There is no exact time. It could have been from the time he left the hospital until he died. This is likely to have lasted at least 10 days, given the increase in cirrhosis and myocarditis," he said, among other things.
The seven medical staff members who are defendants in this trial have denied all charges and claim to be innocent. If found guilty, they face up to 25 years in prison.
