Convicted in Italy, Milan finally chooses former Juve director over Igli Tare

Giorgio Furlani has traveled to London to close the deal with Fabio Paratic, who will be Milan's new sporting director.

Igli Tare was one of the main alternatives during this time, as Ibrahimovic himself insisted on him. Apparently, Furlani's desire prevailed.

Paratic is a well-known name as a sporting director. The 52-year-old spent 11 years as Juventus' sporting director, specifically from 2010 to 2021. Then it was Tottenham who signed him, an experience that lasted for two years. His resignation came after the confirmation of the sentence in Italy.

Paratic could resume his job in July, once his ban from Italian football has ended. This decision was at the time linked to the capital gains involving Juventus.
