There have also been further rumours of a possible departure for Bayern Munich and Germany legend Thomas Muller. According to Kicker, the 35-year-old has decided not to extend his contract with the Bavarians, which expires on June 30th of this year.
However, not everyone is of the same opinion on the matter. According to Sky, Bayern are still in talks with Muller and have reaffirmed the latest position expressed by sporting director Max Eberl.
In an interview with Bild, Eberl explained: "As we have said several times, we are in talks with Thomas Muller, as well as with other players. As we have done in recent weeks and months, we will only announce something when there is something to announce."
So far, neither the parties, nor the player himself, have wanted to confirm whether a final decision has been made about his future, one way or the other.
Muller has been linked with a number of attractive offers, particularly from MLS, with several clubs in the American league trying to convince him to join them. Muller had considered a move outside Germany last year, with rumours of a significant offer from Saudi Arabia, which was rejected.
