A serious road accident resulting in the death of a 27-year-old man was recorded on the Korça-Maliq national axis, near the village of Vashtëmi.
According to preliminary information, an Audi vehicle, which was suspected of being traveling at high speed, hit another vehicle from behind. As a result of the strong collision, the struck vehicle went off the road.
The driver of the struck vehicle, a 27-year-old man who was traveling alone, died at the scene due to his injuries.
The driver of the Audi vehicle has been taken to the police station, while the investigation team is working to clarify the causes and circumstances of the serious accident.

At around 01:00, on the Korça-Pogradec road, near the village of Vloçisht, a "Benz" vehicle, driven by citizen OP, 26 years old, collided with an "Audi" vehicle, driven by citizen KC, 27 years old.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the "Benz" vehicle, citizen OP, died at the scene.
The driver of the Audi, citizen KC, and a passenger traveling in the vehicle were also injured. Both are receiving treatment in hospital and are out of danger.
The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances and determine the cause of the accident.
